manegaun is part of manakamana VDC,nuwakot, nepal.It's ward no 3&2 of VDC and has approximately 136 houses and population of 400.mainly live there Tamang Ethics.It has one lower secondary goverment school,general post office,primary health post.most of people depend on farming some one go gulf cuntrys and malaysia as migration worker.trishuli river and salankhu river is near by this village.another nighbour village are tupche,fikuri,kaule,valche, and more.rasuwa also near by this village most of students go shree nelakanth higher school ,+2 collage&bachelor level. for there higher education.its just 35 minutes from manegaun .transportation is more difficult. just starded primary road before 4 to 5 years. from kathmandu up to betrawati rasuwa is complete road 3.5 hours journey of 86 KM..from betrawati to sirwane(china bridge) also godd road.
after all village was verry beautiful but all ruind,destroyed by 7.9 magnitude earthquake of 2015-04-25.
mostly 10 people were killed and most of houses were badly kracked.people are homeless now,there food and cooking accessory all buried by ruble. so waiting help rebuild village and restore the normale lifestyle.nearby village and district also have same problem.some photo are posted below after earthquake.
